Meditiation~ Sacred Writings
Through a 20 minute Meditation followed by Sacred Writing, daily awakened-awareness is lasting. A proven way to boost the immune system is to allow meditation to continue into sacred writing from the same blank slate that meditation calls for.
Meditation allows us to let go of our attachments to words and the beliefs formed around these words. When we let go of what we see and hear in meditation, we release our past and are receptive to what is ~ NOW. The act of letting go allows us to open inwardly instead of focusing outwardly.
During meditation, we release thoughts and feelings that arise and let them pass away to wherever thoughts and feelings go when they are unheeded. Each time we meditate, we open space within that was closed to us.
Sacred writing flows from that open space onto a blank sheet of paper. Sounds in poetic phrases, streams of consciousness, pure flowering of what is within and wants to give itself up to us, flows from our invisible heartbeat onto paper. To read the sounds aloud is beneficial on many levels. Healing words flowed to us from within us and now we flow these same words back to us aloud. Our own sound carries a vibration that our flesh needs to hear. Listen.
When meditation ~ sacred writing is part of our daily life, we discover that our day is different from when we simply meditated. The act of writing places us in the actions of our life in beneficial ways. That is the feedback loop I’ve heard from the ones I’ve introduced this spiritual practice to.
Over forty years ago I began this spiritual practice at nine every morning, and it changed my life. Years later, I initiated Meditation ~ Sacred Writing wherever I traveled and the practitioners experienced transformative insights and awakened to listen to the ones who were the most difficult for them to live close to in the same way they listened in meditation. Aha! Meditation ~ Sacred Writing is a profound way to change the what appears to be unchangeable in our daily life.
